You decide how long you want to spread the cost of your phone, and you can chop and change your monthly data as often as you like. It’s totally up to you.

Here’s how it works

We split your plan into two contracts:

  • 1 for your phone
  • 1 for your monthly usage

You pay for both together, in one monthly direct debit.

1. Choose how to spread the cost of your phone

  • Either 12, 18, 24 or 36 months.
  • You pay the same for your phone whatever length you choose.

Once your phone’s paid off you can either drop down to just your monthly data plan payments, or decide to upgrade. It’s up to you.

2. Pick a monthly data plan


Decide how much data you’d like.

(You get unlimited calls and texts).

It’s a 1 month rolling contract.

3. Flex it whenever you want

You can have more or less data each month if you want.

And if you want to pay off your phone early and upgrade, you can do that too.

You can change your tariff down as well as up any time if you decide you need more or less data each month. You can do it every month if you want to and it’ll take effect from your next bill date. Simply call our Customer Care team on 4455 from your Tesco Mobile phone.

Yes, you can change your tariff down as well as up and it’ll take effect from your next bill date. You can’t go below the lowest price point for the original tariff you joined on.

Yes, you can upgrade whenever you want to.

If you want to upgrade before your phone contract end date, you just need to pay off the rest of your phone payments.

If you cancel your usage contract before the end of your phone contract, you will need to pay the following in relation to your phone credit agreement:

  • If you cancel your usage contract before the end of month 24, you will have to pay off the remaining balance of your mobile handset credit agreement in full at the point you cancel your usage contract;
  • If your credit agreement is longer than 24 months and you cancel your usage contract after the end of month 24 you can continue to pay your credit agreement balance monthly until you have paid the balance in full.


Because you’re on 1-month rolling usage contract, you’ll only have to pay for the usage (minute, texts and data) for the month you’re in.

After 24 months your phone will no longer be under warranty.  You can cancel your contract after 24 months, but you’ll have to pay off the usage for the month you’re in and the balance of the credit agreement for your phone.  Or, you can upgrade, but you will have to pay off the balance of the credit agreement for your phone.
