Help logging in to your account

Having trouble logging in to your pay monthly account? Don’t worry - here are some ways we can help you get logged in:

  • We can send your username to your registered email address. 
  • You can reset your password once you’ve answered some security questions so we can check who you are, we’ll send you an email with a temporary password.

You’ll need your username and password to log into My Account. You chose these when you bought your contract and you’ll find your username in your order confirmation email (this can be your email address or a username you set when you joined).

We’ve added a two-step authentication process to help keep your account safe.

Here’s how it works:

  • Once you’ve entered your username and password, you may be asked to enter a temporary code.
  • We'll send this to the main account holders phone. If you don't have access to the phone, you can click 'don't have access to my device' and enter the email address registered to your account instead. 
  • Once you’ve got your code, it’ll be valid for 20 minutes and after this you’ll need to request a new one. 
  • If you’ve recently cleared your browser’s cache or cookies, you may need to go through the above steps to login securely.

Too many failed attempts to log in may result in your account being locked.

To unlock your account you will need to reset your passwordOnce you’ve answered some security questions so we can check who you are, we’ll send you an email with a temporary password.

Once you've logged in, you can update your password to something more memorable. To do this:

1. Go to the 'Manage account' section
2. Click on 'Change my password' under the quick links
3. In the 'Current password' section, enter your temporary password
4. In the 'New password' section, enter the new password you'd like to use

Tips to help you log in

  • You can change your username to your email address, so it's easier to remember in the future. To do this just go to 'Manage account' once you've logged in and tick the 'use email address as username' box.
  • Always check for unwanted spaces before or after your username or password.
  • If we've sent you a temporary password, type it in manually and avoid copying and pasting.
  • Keep track of your usage
  • View recent bills and see a breakdown of any charges
  • View your tariff and upgrade status
  • Make a payment 
  • Make changes to your bundles or safety buffer
  • Update your home or email address
  • Register your Tesco Clubcard
  • Message our Customer Care team

Logging in for pay as you go and no-contract SIM

To log into My Account you’ll need to enter your mobile number and security code. You’ll then receive a text to your phone with a PIN to log in.
