Order tracking & delivery
We use DPD – our parcel delivery service – to deliver your phone to you. They’ll deliver to your home address from Monday-Saturday, apart from bank holidays. Your home address (where your phone is being delivered to) must be the same as your billing address. Just so you know, you’ll need to sign for your delivery.
Please be aware, deliveries can sometimes be delayed, and deliveries to remote areas and Northern Ireland may take a little longer than what’s listed below.

Frequently asked questions
We’ll send you an email with a link to track your parcel with DPD. On your delivery day, you’ll receive an email and text confirming your 1-hour delivery slot, which will be between 8am and 8pm. If you need to change the date or time of your delivery, just follow the steps in the email/text, or enter your reference number and postcode on the DPD website to see your options.
You’ll be able to track your parcel as soon as the DPD courier scans it and places it on board a delivery van. This is usually in the early hours on your delivery day.
The easiest way to track your parcel and get delivery alerts is with the DPD app, which is available for iPhone and Android.
If you’re not in, the DPD courier will leave your parcel with one of your neighbours. If none of your neighbours are available, the courier will post a card through your letter box with the info you need, and will try to deliver your parcel again the next working day. DPD will contact you via email or text to confirm the redelivery. After 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts, DPD will return your parcel to us.
If you have a preferred neighbour you’d like the courier to leave your parcel with, or if you don’t want your parcel to be left with any of your neighbours, you can set your preferences using the DPD app (available for iPhone and Android) or on the DPD website.
You’ve got a 14 day cooling off period after you buy your phone. If you decide not to keep your phone within 14 days, our help page has all the info you need about returning an order.
If you’ve ordered a SIM free or pay as you go phone from Tesco.com, you can check the status of your order by logging in to your Tesco account and going to ‘Your Order’.

And remember, once your phone arrives and you’re up and running, you can easily manage your pay as you go account online or via our app.
It may take us a little longer than usual to deliver your SIM to you over the Christmas period. Please allow time for Bank Holiday delays.

Pay as you go SIMs
If you’ve ordered a free pay as you go SIM from us, we’ll send this to you via Royal Mail 1st Class post. It should drop through your letter box in 3 to 5 working days – and you won’t need to sign for it.

We sometimes offer the option of pre-ordering a phone before its official release date. For pre-orders, we aim to deliver your phone to you as close as possible to its official release date. Once we have your phone, we’ll send you an email, asking you to complete your pre-order by e-signing your credit agreement within 48 hours – your phone can’t be delivered to you until you’ve done this. If any initial payment is due on your pre-order, this will be taken as soon as your credit agreement has been e-signed.
What if I change my mind?
If you pre-order a phone, but then change your mind, you can cancel your pre-order by clicking the ‘Cancel’ link in the ‘Thank you’ email we send you immediately after you place your pre-order. Alternatively, simply choosing not to e-sign your credit agreement will mean that we’ll cancel your pre-order for you.
If you order a phone that’s temporarily out of stock, it’ll take a little longer to get to you. Once it’s available, we’ll send you an email so you can complete your order by e-signing your Credit Agreement within 48 hours. Please keep an eye out for this email from us. If any initial payment is due on your order, this’ll be taken as soon as your Credit Agreement has been e-signed. We’ll aim to get your phone to you within 30 days of you completing your order – or we’ll cancel your order for you and let you know.
