It may take a little longer than usual for us to deliver your order to you during the Christmas period.

We use DPD – our parcel delivery service – to deliver your phone to you. They’ll deliver to your home address from Monday-Saturday, apart from bank holidays. 
 
If you order before 4pm Monday-Friday, you’ll get free next day delivery in the UK (98% of parcels delivered next day). For orders placed after 4pm, or over weekends or bank holidays, please allow up to 5 days for these to arrive.

Deliveries to remote areas and Northern Ireland may take a little longer.

Frequently asked questions

We’ll send you an email with a link to track the delivery with DPD. On delivery day you’ll receive an email and text confirming your 1 hour delivery slot (between 8am and 8pm). You can also track your delivery using the DPD app. More information about the DPD app can be found on this video

You can change the date and time of delivery if you need to. Details on how to do this are in the email and text message. You’ll need to sign for your delivery.

If you’re not in, DPD will attempt to leave your order with a neighbour. If there isn’t a neighbour available then they’ll leave a card with the info you need and they’ll try to deliver again the next working day. DPD will contact you by text or email to confirm the redelivery and will attempt 3 deliveries in total before returning the phone to us.

If you have a preferred neighbour you’d like DPD to leave it with or if you don’t want DPD to leave your order with any of your neighbours, you can set your preferences using the DPD app. The DPD app is available for iPhone and Android. Alternatively, enter your reference number and postcode on the DPD website to see your options.

No, we only deliver to your billing address.

You’ve got a 14 day cooling off period after you buy your phone. If you decide not to keep your phone within 14 days, our returns help page has all the info you need.

If you’ve placed a new or an upgrade order and requested a SIM, keep an eye out for it being delivered through your letterbox by one of our delivery partners. If you ordered before 4pm Monday to Friday, we’ll send your SIM via next day delivery. Orders placed after 4pm or over weekends or Bank Holidays may take slightly longer, so please allow up to 5 days for these to arrive.

If you’ve purchased a SIM free or pay as you go phone from Tesco.com directly, then you can check the latest status of your order online. Log on to Account and go to ‘Your Order’.

We sometimes offer the option of pre-ordering a phone, before its official release date.  For pre-orders, we aim to deliver your new phone to you as close as possible to the official release date. For that delivery to happen, you’ll need to follow the instructions in the email we send you when we have your phone.  This email asks you to complete your pre-order by e-signing your Credit Agreement within 48 hours.  If any initial payment is due on your pre-order, this will be taken as soon as your Credit Agreement has been e-signed.

Changed your mind? 

If you’ve pre-ordered a phone, but then change your mind, you can cancel your pre-order by clicking the ‘cancel’ link in the ‘thank you’ email we send you immediately after you’ve placed the pre-order. Alternatively, simply choosing not to e-sign your Credit Agreement will mean that we’ll cancel the pre-order for you.
