How Anytime Upgrade Flex Works..

  • You have two contracts – one for your phone and one for your usage
  • Your monthly phone payments depend on how long your contract is – 12, 18, 24, 30 or 36 months (the maximum length for usage is 24 months)
  • If you need to spend less or you’re not using all your data, just move your tariff down any time
  • You can upgrade whenever you want – just pay off your current phone
  • You’ll pay less each month once you’ve paid off your phone, because after that you’ll only pay for your usage

Requires a monthly credit agreement at 0% APR and and a 24 month usage contract both with Tesco Mobile Limited. Subject to availability and your status. If your credit agreement period is longer than 24 months, your Early Termination Charges for your usage contract are only payable up to and including month 24. What if I want more data?

You can change your tariff down as well as up any time if you decide you need more or less data each month. You can do it every month if you want to and it’ll take effect from your next bill date. Simply call our Customer Care team on 4455 from your Tesco Mobile phone.

You can also buy a one-off data bundle or increase your monthly data allowance in My Account or our app.

Can I change my tariff?

Yes, you can change your tariff down as well as up and it’ll take effect from your next bill date. You can’t go below the lowest price point for the original tariff you joined on.

To change your tariff, simply call our Customer Care team on 4455 from your Tesco Mobile phone.

Will I pay more for my phone if I take out a longer contract?

No, you pay the same price for the phone but the cost is spread over more months.

Can I move my tariff down or up?

Yes, you can change your tariff down as well as up. You can do it every month if you want to and it’ll take effect from your next bill date. Simply call our Customer Care team on 4455 from your Tesco Mobile phone.

Can I upgrade whenever I want?

Yes, you can upgrade whenever you want to.

If you want to upgrade before your contract end date, you just need to pay off the rest of your phone payments. We’ll waive the airtime payments if you upgrade.

What if I want to cancel my contract early?

If you’re on a 12, 18 or 24 month contract  you’ll have to pay off all outstanding usage payments and the balance of the credit agreement for your phone.

If you’re on a 30 or 36 month contract and you cancel your contract before 24 months, you’ll have to pay off your monthly usage payments up to month 24, but you won’t have to pay off anything for usage for any months from 25 to 36. You’ll also need to pay off the balance of the credit agreement for your phone.

If you cancel your contract after 24 months, you’ll have to pay off the usage for the month you’re in and the balance of the credit agreement for your phone.

What happens to the phone warranty after 24 months?

Standard manufacturer’s warranties last for 24 months so your phone will no longer be under warranty. Don’t worry, after 24 months you can give us your phone back and upgrade to a new one.
