Start a Family Pack with one line at the everyday price, then add up to 4 family members, at any time, to get family discount. Everyone in the Family Pack gets unlimited data, texts and minutes. And you’ll all be on rolling 1 month SIM only contracts, so you can join and leave whenever you want.  

To keep the Family Pack going, there always needs to be one person paying the everyday price. If that person leaves, one of the other family members in the Family Pack will need to switch to paying everyday price so everyone else can keep getting family discount.

You can also earn Clubcard points on your bill – everyone in the Family Pack bags 1 point for every £1 they spend.

If you’re new to Tesco Mobile, you may need to wait up to 48 hours to get your first line activated before adding family members with family discount. If you’re upgrading an existing Tesco Mobile line to Family Pack, you would need to wait until your next bill date, when your new plan will get activated, before you can add additional family members with family discount.

Up to five – as long as they’re not already on your Tesco Mobile account for a different pay monthly plan. 

You can upgrade any of your existing pay monthly plans to a Family Pack. Or you can start a Family Pack for family members who don’t already have pay monthly plans – as long as you won’t end up with more than five people on your overall account. Just head to our online shop and pick Family Pack from the SIM only options.

Your first Family Pack line will be everyday price, and after that you’ll get family discount on any lines you add.

Remember, if you upgrade before your existing contract is up, you might have to pay a fee.

Yes, you can have separate billing accounts with Family Pack lines in each. To get the most value, it’s best to keep all your Family Pack lines together. If you do split them over two accounts, you’ll need to have a Family Pack line at everyday price in each account to get family discount on the rest of the lines.

No, Family Pack is a different plan. You can upgrade your current plan at no extra cost if you’re past the end of your contract. Check My Account to see where your contract is at.

For now, Family Pack is only available on 1 month rolling SIM only contracts – but we’re working on bringing it to our phones, too. Keep an eye on our website for updates.

Family Pack Small Print

To qualify for family discount, you must have an active line paying the everyday price in your Family Pack. If you cancel or upgrade from the everyday price, one of the family discount lines must pay the everyday price from your next bill date. If buying a new line, line activation may take 48 hours and if upgrading to the Family Pack, line activation may occur on the next bill date.
