Tesco Mobile has become the UK’s first mobile network to introduce a range of 18-month SIM-only tariffs, from just £10 per month.
All the deals come with 4G at no extra cost as standard.
The network is the first to extend its range of SIM only offerings to include longer terms as an increasing number of consumers turn to SIM deals to get the best value tariffs whilst keeping their handset.
Trials of new SIM offerings clearly showed that customers were happy to commit to longer terms to ensure they get even more value for money.
Simon Groves, Chief Marketing Officer at Tesco Mobile said:
“These data rich deals are available for anyone who is the market for making savvy mobile choices and are happy with their handset.
“Our customers told us that they are happy to commit to a deal for a longer period of time if it means they don’t have to worry about looking around for the best deal.
“Switching to a SIM-only deal could save these customers hundreds of pounds a year because the cost of a new handset isn’t included in the monthly tariff.”
Two tariffs are being introduced today by Tesco Mobile. These are:
• £10 per month for 1,000 minutes, 5,000 texts and 1GB data
• £12.50 for 1,500 minutes, 5,000 texts and 2GB data
