At Tesco Mobile, we're committed to helping children, parents and schools build digital skills and stay safe online. Through our partnership with Internet Matters and Digital Matters, we run online safety competitions that encourage children to learn about topics such as privacy, cyberbullying, online relationships and digital wellbeing.

Create an Online Safety Champion Competition Winners

We’re happy to announce the winners of our exciting competition, run in partnership with Internet Matters. As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting families and schools with online safety, we invited Year 5 and 6 pupils to create their very own Online Safety Champion.

We received lots of brilliant entries – a huge thank you to everyone who took part. And now, a big round of applause for our winners:Prizes to be won: 

1st place – Amaya (Lent Rise School) - Amaya wowed us with her creation, Kitty – a savvy gaming guardian. She earned her school a £7,500 donation, including a £500 Tesco e-Gift Card, and will enjoy a bespoke drawing workshop with award-winning children’s author and illustrator, Rob Biddulph. Plus, Kitty will be brought to life on the Digital Matters platform!
2nd place – Lilly (Valence Primary School) - Lilly’s creative character, Nesukii, won her school a £5,000 donation, including a £500 Tesco e-Gift Card.
3rd place – Dylan (Holy Family Catholic Primary School) - Dylan’s imaginative entry, Jeremy, bagged a £2,500 donation for his school, also including a £500 Tesco e-Gift Card.

Previous Competition and Prize Draw Winners

Congratulations once again to Castleview Primary School, the lucky winners of last year’s autumn term Digital Matters prize draw!

We had the pleasure of visiting the school to hand over their prize – 30 brand-new Samsung tablets – and spend some time with Mrs Harris and her class. It was great to see how they’re using the interactive Digital Matters platform to explore and learn about online safety.
