Apple becomes first-ever trillion dollar company
Apple has become the world’s first company to be valued at a trillion dollar – with its share price reaching an all-time high of $207.05. This is a massive testament to the worldwide popularity of the iPhone, iPad and Macs and comes off back of the news that they made a record revenue from iPhone sales.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to be released on August 24 with massive 1TB storage
A US website has accidentally revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is set to be released for sale on the 24th of August, 2018. Set to be unveiled on the 9th of this month, a newly leaked video of the phone shows that it will feature an absolutely massive 1TB of storage.
According to the video, the phone will be equipped with 512GB of internal storage, as well as an additional 512GB of microSD storage – making it one of the first phones you can buy with an entire TB of memory.
Android P could be coming out August 20
According to well-known tipster Evan Blass, Android P could be coming out as early as August 20, 2018. While we still have no idea what the official name of the software will be, we know that it will feature adaptive screen and battery technology designed to improve battery life, and a new gesture control.
We’re very excited to see what Android P will bring to our phones and can’t wait for it to start rolling out!
Dummy models of upcoming iPhones leak with rumours of dual SIM support
Images have surfaced showing dummy models of the upcoming iPhones, giving us our first real impression of how they will look. While of course we can’t verify the images, they do seem to fit in with all the other rumours we’ve heard.
Developers have also noticed support for dual SIMs in the code of the iOS 12 beta fuelling speculation that it will appear in the 2018 phones. We’ve also heard from developers that the iPhone X Plus will feature an iPad-style landscape mode.
New patent shows how Samsung S10 in-screen fingerprint scanner might work
A new patent from Samsung shows the much-anticipated in-screen fingerprint scanner, which industry experts are claiming is likely to be in next year’s Samsung Galaxy S10 – due in February 2019.
The patent shows a large biometric sensor behind the screen that uses light changes to accurately detect a fingerprint.
