Tesco Mobile Xtras Promotion Policy
Promotion: Get £3 a month off your mobile bill with Tesco Mobile Xtras
The Promotion is subject to the Tesco Mobile Terms of Service.
Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility: To benefit from the Promotion, you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- Be 13 years of age or older (and have parental consent if between 13-17);
- Be a Pay Monthly or SIM only Tesco Mobile customer
- Have a tariff with inclusive data
- Be able to receive SMS
- Be using an Android smartphone with version 4.0 or above; and
- Have joined, upgraded, or changed tariff on, or after 8th August 2013
- You can get Tesco Mobile Xtras whether you’re new to Tesco Mobile or you’re already with us.
- What: To start saving on your bill, simply download and set up the Tesco Mobile Xtras app. We’ll show you adverts, offers and content (e.g. news) every few times you unlock your phone.
- Get £3 a month off your bill when you view adverts, offers or content on at least 21 days during each billing month (the "minimum usage requirement").
- You can pause or cancel Tesco Mobile Xtras on your phone any time. However, you will not get your discount if you do not meet the minimum usage requirement.
- Data usage: The Tesco Mobile Xtras app uses data. There are no videos to watch, just a single page at a time.
- To cover the data you might use, we’ll give you an extra 200MB for the month you download the app. Please note that it can take up to five working days after you register for Tesco Mobile Xtras for us to apply the 200MB of data to your account. Before we do this, you may be charged for the data you use through the app (i.e. if you do not have any data left in your inclusive allowance).
- We will also give you an extra 200MB for each month following a month in which you receive the Tesco Mobile Xtras discount.
- Tesco Mobile Xtras will pause when you’re roaming, so you don’t need to worry about using data abroad. Tesco Mobile Xtras will turn back on when you enter a WiFi zone.
- Length of promotion: The Tesco Mobile Xtras app and discount is not guaranteed over your contract term and Tesco Mobile reserves the right to discontinue the Tesco Mobile Xtras app and discount at any time.
- How to receive discount: Each month, if you have met the minimum usage requirement, you will get a £3 discount on your monthly bill. You don't need to do anything extra.
- Anytime Upgrade tariffs: For customers on Anytime Upgrade tariffs, if you qualify for the Tesco Mobile Xtras discount, the discount will only be applied to your usage contract. The discount will not be applied to any device credit agreement you may have.
- These terms may be amended from time to time, so please do check back periodically to see if there have been any changes.
- Tesco Mobile will not be responsible or liable for any disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Tesco Mobile.
- By participating in this Promotion, you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, to release and hold Tesco Mobile harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in or in connection with the Promotion. The above limitation of liability shall not apply to liability arising from fraud (including fraudulent misrepresentation), or death or personal injury caused as a result of Tesco Mobile’s negligence.
- The Promotion is governed by English law.
