Summary Terms & Conditions

To be eligible, Entrants are required to accept the terms and conditions of the promotion including the privacy policy and obtain the consent of any non-Entrant whose data is provided.  By participating in the competition, Entrants consent to the Promoter’s use of and confirm they have obtained the permission to use (“UGC Consent”) any data uploaded to https://tv.tescomobile.com in order to administer the competition and for Promoter’s marketing and promotional purposes.  Where submitted content includes images/data related to non-Entrants, Entrants must obtain and retain the UGC Consent of each non-Entrant.   Closing date is 13 April 2017. Full Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

  1. Eligibility: This promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over who have consented to the Promoter’s use of any uploaded data for administering the competition and for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional purposes. 
  2. Promotion Period: Entries may be submitted  between 00:00am on 27 March 2017 and 23:59pm on 13 April 2017.
  3. No purchase is necessary; however internet access and a valid email account is required.
  4. To Enter: visit https://tv.tescomobile.com, watch the instructional upload video, click the begin button, indicate your acceptance of the  privacy policy and terms and conditions by checking the relevant boxes confirm your age, permission to submit data related to any third parties; and consent to Promoter’s use of your submitted data by checking the related boxes then click continue. Enter your email address and click the upload button.
  5.  Entrants must follow the entry procedure in order to have a valid entry. The Promoter will at its sole discretion decide and approve successful entries. There will be a dedicated Tesco selection provided there are sufficient Entrants who are also Tesco colleagues.
  6. The Prize:
    Winner(s) video footage will be included in Tesco Mobile’s TV advert to be aired on Saturday 29th April 2017 or Sunday 30th April 2017.
    Where an Entrant is a Tesco colleague as evidenced by the submission of a valid colleague number, the Entrant will be eligible for one of the allocated Tesco selections.
  7. Moderation: Entries will be rejected if they:
    1. contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language or imagery;
    2. include the names, likenesses, photographs or similar of any individual without their express permission;
    3. contain immoral or obscene behaviour;
    4. condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour;
    5. cause offence on the ground of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age;
    6. refer to any brand other than the Promoter’s; or
    7. represent a danger, health and safety fear or distress.
  8. Winner Notification:  Winners will be notified by email within 5 working days after the end of the Promotion Period. Each winner’s  name and social media handle will be included in the promotion of the winning entries by the Promoter.
  9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or claims that are late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected, network failure or delayed.
  10. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable unless otherwise stated and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. Any person found selling their prize will be disqualified and asked to return their prize.
  11. Data Privacy: Entrants' personal data will only be used for this promotion and will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available here. 
  12. General: If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries (this includes, without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion).
  13. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by the Promoter.
  14. In all aspects of this promotion, the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of winners.
  15. As a condition of accepting the prize, winners may be required, at the Promoter’s request, to participate in any reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prizes, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their names and images in promotional material, including that with third parties.
  16. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.  Incomplete or illegible entries, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted.  If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. 
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.
  18. The rules of this promotion are subject to the legal and regulatory restrictions imposed under English law and the parties to any dispute or action shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.

First Rocket Pack free promotion - Terms & Conditions

Promotion: First Rocket Pack free promotion is open to new customers and existing customers who have not previously purchased a Rocket Pack.

New Customer: Get your first Rocket Pack free when you either activate your new Tesco Mobile pay as you go SIM card or your new pay as you go phone. Top-up and purchase of a £10, £15 or £20 Rocket Pack is required to qualify for the promotion. This must be completed before the end of the promotion period as stated below.

Existing Customer: Get your first Rocket Pack free when you either move to the Rocket Packs tariff for the first time and purchase a £10, £15 or £20 Rocket Pack or if you are already on the Rocket Packs tariff and have never purchased a Rocket Pack.  This must be completed before the end of the promotion period.

Promotion available on £10, £15 and £20 Rocket Packs only.

Promotion Period: From 00:01 (GMT) 27th March until 23:59 (GMT) 23th April 2017.

Tesco Mobile Terms and Conditions

Free promotional Rocket Packs include the same allowances as paid for Rocket Packs:

£10 – 1GB + 500 minutes + 5000 text

£15 – 3GB + 1000 minutes + 5000 text

£20 – 4GB + 2000 minutes + 5000 text

Existing customers must purchase a Rocket Pack from available top-up. We will apply a refund in top-up credit within 48 hours of qualifying purchase.

Your free Rocket Pack lasts for one calendar month from the date you are notified that it has been activated. Any unused allowance will not be carried forward or rolled over into your next month’s Rocket Pack. Your free Rocket Pack will automatically renew into a paid for Rocket Pack.

You will not be able to renew into another free Rocket Pack and you will not be able to change to a different free Rocket Pack once it’s started.

Participants who switch tariffs for whatever reason or who fail to comply with any of the terms of this promotion will cease to qualify for the free Rocket Pack.

Free iTunes gift card promotion

iTunes Gift Card promotion (the “Promotion”): -- The Promotion will commence on 1st November and end at 23:59 (GMT) on 21st December 2016 (the “Promotion Period”). Free £15 iTunes gift card with the purchase of the iPhone 5s 16GB or the iPhone SE on either pay as you go or pay monthly.  
The Promotion is also subject to the Tesco Mobile Terms of Service.

Tesco Mobile Terms and Conditions

  1. To qualify for the Promotion you must have purchased from Tesco Mobile Limited (“Tesco Mobile”) an iPhone 5s 16GB or the iPhone SE on either pay as you go or a new pay monthly contract ("Qualifying Purchase") during the Promotion Period.  Pay as you go devices must be activated and topped up.
  2. Subject to device availability, Tesco Mobile reserves the right to withdraw the Promotion at any time before the end of the Promotion Period.
  3. For Pay monthly contracts: Advertised tariffs are based on a 24 month contract & 24 month credit agreement at 0% APR representative with Tesco Mobile Ltd; subject to availability and status; 4G subject to coverage; included minutes/texts are to calls/texts to 01, 02, 03 and UK mobile numbers only; first monthly payment is taken at point of sale; for our credit offering, the Financial Conduct Authority is our supervising authority.
  4. For Pay as you go purchases:  Devices locked to Tesco Mobile network; 4G offering is subject to coverage and requires a 4G SIM; subject to availability. 
  5. Gift card to be returned upon return or cancellation of your Qualifying Purchase.  Limit of one gift card per device purchase or contract.

  7. Gift cards are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.  Please treat the gift card carefully as we will not be able to replace lost gift cards.

Redemption of gift card

  1. To redeem the gift card, you need to visit gifts.tescomobile.com to register the IMEI number of your qualifying handset, and provide your contact details and certain other required information.
  2. Registration for the gift card must be made before 23:59 on 11th January 2017 (the “End Date”). Claims received after the End Date will be invalid.
  3. You will be sent an email to confirm that your registration has been received.
  4. Upon verification of your details Tesco Mobile will send you an SMS (approx. 19 days after you registered the claim) to confirm verification dispatch of the gift card. Provided your registration is validated, delivery of the gift card will be within 28 days of you registering to redeem the gift card. If you return your Qualifying Purchase before verification you will not be eligible to receive the gift card.
  5. Delivery of the gift card will be to the postal address you provided when you registered to redeem the gift card.
  6. This Promotion is not redeemable with any other offer.
  7. Claims that are incomplete or damaged will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted by Tesco Mobile for lost, delayed or damaged data which occurs during any communication or transmission of claims.
  8. Tesco Mobile reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify claims which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions.
  9. Tesco Mobile shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details from you.
  10. Use of the gift card will be subject to Apple Inc. terms of service which are available at apple.com.

Privacy and data protection

  1. General

  1. Tesco Mobile will not be responsible or liable for any: (a) failure to receive submissions due to transmission failures and other conditions beyond its reasonable control; (b) late, lost, misrouted, or damaged transmissions or claims; (c) computer or communications related malfunctions or failures; (d) disruptions, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of Tesco Mobile; or (e) printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Promotion.
  2. In order to participate in the Promotion you will need access to the internet to register to claim your Free £15 iTunes gift card.
  3. By participating in this Promotion, you agree, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, to release and hold Tesco Mobile harmless from any and all liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in or in connection with the Promotion, including without limitation, awarding, acceptance, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of the gift card. The above limitation of liability shall not apply to liability arising from fraud (including fraudulent misrepresentation), death or personal injury caused as a result of Tesco Mobile’s negligence.

  3. To enter: During the Promotional Period go to the unique survey link provided in your SMS or email invite. Answer the questions and enter your email address. All valid entries will be entered into the prize draw.
  4. Only one entry per person, per phone number throughout the Promotional Period is permitted.
