- Tesco Mobile launches 4G on pay as you go at no extra cost
- Offers most competitive deal for pay as you go customers on low cost data bundles from 500MB to 2GB
- Extends 4G handset range to include newly-released Motorola Moto G 4G and Nokia Lumia 635
From today, Tesco Mobile will be extending its offering of super-fast 4G data at no extra cost to all customers, whether pay monthly or pay as you go.
Customers will be able to choose even more data bundles with the newly extended range of 4G packages ranging from 500MB to 8GB, enough to watch up to 160 hours of TV over 4G*.
All Tesco Mobile customers who choose not to purchase their data in bundles can simply get 4G at no extra cost and pay 10p per MB of data.
Tesco Mobile was the first virtual mobile operator (MVNO) to introduce 4G, and the first network to offer truly flexible 4G.
Today’s announcement means Tesco Mobile will make the super-fast network available to everyone and for every budget.
Simon Groves, Chief Marketing Officer from Tesco Mobile commented on the news
“The world we live in is becoming ever more fast-paced and data hungry. No one likes being made to wait around and we see no reason why our pay as you go customers shouldn’t have access to the same speeds as pay monthly ones; which is why we now offer 4G to all our customers at prices that are accessible to everyone.”
4G pay as you go at no extra cost will be available with a number of the latest 4G handsets including the newly stocked and best-selling Motorola Moto G 4G version (£139) and the Nokia Lumia 635 at a market leading price of £119.
